A Pint-Sized Pinup
Title: A Pint-Sized Pinup
Rating: PG-13 for some suggestive language and swearing.
Genre: Humour (I hope!)
Pairing: Mm, almost John/Sherlock. You'll see what I mean.
Warnings: None really. Some swearing. A couple of insinuations.
Word Count: 2397
Disclaimer: Just playing in the sandbox, and I put them back in much better condition than I found them. ;)

Summary: A picture's worth a thousand words, or so they say. This picture though, is worth so much more.

A/N: There was a prompt by elishtar several months back (no joke, it was in January) that I saw and thought, wow, that would be fun to write. It's been rolling around in my brain since then, but I never sat down to write it. But then, a couple of days ago, atlinmerrick responded to a comment I had made to one of her stories that ended up being the kick in the pants I needed. So really, this story is only here because of her. If you read this, thanks so much. :)

Thanks to The_Circus for the Britpicking help on this. If you're not reading her story The Montague Street Doctor on AO3, you're missing out. A completely different take on John post-TRF.

John Watson was muttering to himself, imitating the voice of one Detective Inspector Gregory Lestrade of Scotland Yard. Collapse )

Laying It On The Line
Title: Laying It On The Line
Words: 1000+
Rating: PG
Characters: John, OC (Sofie)
Warnings: none? more knowledge of meerkats than the average human should have?
Summary: John and Sofie have a talk after Sherlock's return from the grave.
A/N: I've been reading the Sofie series by the lovely morganstuart (incidentally, if you haven't read it, you're completely in the wrong place at the moment. I'll wait.) which she just finished brilliantly. I mentioned that there were two side stories from the ending that I'd love to see. She told me I was more than welcome to write them myself.

This is not either of those stories.

However, it is another story inspired by that ending, using her wonderful character Sofie. She (morganstuart, not Sofie) told me I was more than welcome to play in her 'verse, and that's what I've done. I hope I've done her character and her series proud, though I couldn't hope to write Sofie as well as she did.

You can find the ending to the Sofie series here and the master post to the series here. Go read them now.

Huge thanks to morganstuart again for her story, her permission to play in her sandbox and for the correction she gave me.

The Ones Who Love Us Most
Title: The Ones Who Love Us Most
Words: 2500+
Rating: PG
Characters: Sherlock/John, Mycroft/Lestrade, Mummy Holmes
Warnings: Homophobia
A/N: Written for this prompt on Make Me a Monday by meredydd: I'd like to see one where Sherlock, John, Lestrade or Mycroft comes out as bi/gay to their family or close friends because they are in love with another man. I prefer S/J or Mystrade pairings in this case.

And a Ring to Bind Them
Title: And a Ring to Bind Them
Author: ShaindyL
Rating: G
Fandom: Sherlock (BBC)
Summary: Sherlock lifts something from Lestrade that he shouldn't have. Bad Sherlock, bad!
Characters: Sherlock, John, Lestrade
Pairing: J/L
Warnings: None
Word Count: 1917
Author's Notes: Written for a prompt on last week's Make Me a Monday post by ladyprydian: "I pickpocket him when he's being annoying - one day Sherlock pickpockets something from Lestrad that he really shouldn't have."

Disclaimer: Not mine, wish they were. At the very least, it would give me a more valid reason to stare at Benedict Cumberbatch all day.

This is my first fanfic in five years. I'm nervous, so be gentle, lol!
